Message of
\nHekmatist party leadership to the revolutionary people of Iran<\/p>\n
Iranian cities are roaring with protests. We salute the brave and revolutionary people of Iran who have taken to the streets and organised mass demonstrations against the Islamic Republic. We salute you and on behalf of the Hekmatist Party send our solidarity and sympathy with all who have lost their loved ones.<\/p>\n
The regime\u2019s officials did not see such mass reaction to hit them on the head. They thought they could just increase petrol prices without any opposition. By tripling the petrol prices they have actually fuelled the anger of the people against the entirety of the regime. The government officials and all the reactionary mullahs know all too well that the protests go far beyond fuel prices. People are challenging the entirety of the Islamic rule. People are chanting \u201cWe do not want the Islamic Republic!\u201d. This protest movement started last January and has become more militant now.<\/p>\n
People!
\nWe are entering a new era in our fight against the Islamic Republic. We must extend our protests to most cities and towns. We must act in a united manner. Workers and communist leaders have a vital role to play in creating unity and organisation with clear demands. A national network of militancy is needed. Our struggle is against poverty, inflation, discrimination and the Islamic regime of capital. Let us shout the slogan of \u201cNo to poverty, No to discrimination, No to Islamic Republic\u201d.<\/p>\n
The day after the overthrow of the Islamic Republic, we raise the banner of freedom, equality, prosperity for all. Let us take this perspective to the people. We must be united and organised. Where possible, we must build councils and exert people\u2019s direct intervention and action.<\/p>\n
Workers!
\nWe are entering a historical period in the political fate of the society. Islamic Republic is losing control. It is under workers\u2019 constant pressure and peoples\u2019 protests. One important aspect of the mass protest movements in Lebanon and Iraq is their offensive against the Islamic Republic of Iran\u2019s interference in these countries. The Islamic Republic is under pressure from all sides. United and organised, we must overthrow the Islamic Republic and replace it with Workers\u2019 Rule. We must guarantee freedom, equality and prosperity for all. The overthrow of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not only put an end to the hellish rule imposed on people of Iran, it also provides hope in the Middle East for workers\u2019 rule and a better world.
